okay! man its been a long long long time since no journal. im lazy, whaaaaaatever. anywho

been really thinking about it, and ive decided that i absolutely want a nikon d80. not yet sure if its too much awesomeness for me, so im gonna ask around at some camera shops and get some pretty intelligent info on it (the dude at future shop really wasnt that helpful, and only knew a little portion about the camera).

if it is too much awesomeness for me, im gonna take a step down and grab the d60 (oddly enough the d70 is below the d60 in performance. who knew). most likely, ill be getting a d80 though.

if you or someone you know has one or has used one, i wanna know what they thought, cuz this $1000 camera is kind of a big deal

ok so heres the story. i had known my car has needed a tuneup for a while, so i was waiting till i got enough money to pay for it, and then still be able to survive afterwards. this day came on friday, when i took it in for an oil change and tuneup for 400 bucks. upon receiving my baby back to me, i found out that i had only been running on 3/4 cylinders, heh. not very good for a sportscar like mine.
so i barely get to use it over the weekend, and really test all the Horses brought back to life in my engine, and then dissaster stuck. on my way to school today, i was driving my fave stretch of road, really giving her, going about 100km/h (yes in town lol) and as soon as i popped her into 5th gear, i heard a strange noise and a huge cloud of smoke came billowing out the back...... i coasted around the corner and stopped. all i could do was sit and stare.... my baby was hurt and i had no idea what was wrong...

i make my way to school, get my dad to tow the car to the mechanics, and i hear back from my dad later that it will be at least a 3 hour job at 70$/hr just to see whats wrong.... it might be just cracked or blown seal, which isnt so bad, but theres always worse that could happen
im praying that my car is gonna be alright, and even more, that i dont have to pay for it. THEY opened up my engine and got the 3rd cylinder working. now its the 4th cylinder thats all fucked and if its something that they could have possibly overlooked, i REALLY dont want to and cant afford to pay it... i just want my baby back

ok so heres the news. i was recently taking recording studio pictures of my friend for his newest solo album. i just got news today they the pictures turned out spectacularly. my friend has a scanner at his place so he'll be able to get them onto the computer, which inturn i will submit my absolute faves onto here. if everything goes well i should have them up in at MOST a week. so ladies and gentlemen alike.........prepare yourselves.
